Adult swimming lessons
Being able to swim is lifesaving
In order for a person to be able to learn to swim, it is first necessary to feel safe in the water. This means learning about the properties of water and how water affects your own body. Adults have a tendency to intellectualize and rationalize what to do instead of letting the body learn by feeling.
Many adults have negative experiences with water that have caused fear of being in or around water. This can limit a person's life in many ways. Building a basic confidence in water and learning to swim in a safe environment can counteract the negative experiences and strengthen self-confidence.
Swimming and bathing can provide both exercise and well-being - not to mention incredible joy!

Our pool and water quality
All our teaching takes place in our own, beautiful pool. The pool is 12 x 6 m and 130 cm deep. It stays 34-35 degrees warm.
Everyone who is going to swim in our pool must shower properly before. It is important to shower without swimwear and wash your hair with shampoo. If you really don't want to wash your hair, you can use a tight-fitting bathing cap that covers the entire hair. Swimwear must be clean.
Our strict shower rules are due to our desire to use as little chlorine as possible in the pool for both environmental reasons and consideration for our swimmers (many of whom are small babies) and our swim instructors. The more dirt that gets into the pool, the more chlorine is needed.
